Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how TCH LLC ("TCH", "TCH Providers", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website at tchproviders.com and our products: TCH Carrier Finder, TCH DAT Extension (our DAT One browser extension) and TCH Browser.
If you have any question about this policy or your information, email us at support@tchproviders.com.
The short version
- We collect only what each product needs to work, and we don't sell personal information.
- TCH Carrier Finder uses Google sign-in only to send emails you choose to send from your own Gmail. It cannot read, search or delete your email.
- We don't use your information, or any Google user data, for advertising, and we don't use Google user data to train AI models.
- You can ask us to show you or delete your information at any time.
Information we collect
On this website
The website has no accounts and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
TCH Carrier Finder
- Account information: your name, email address, role (for example sales rep, insurance agent or administrator) and the password you set. Accounts are created by TCH or by your team's administrator.
- Device information: an identifier for the computer and browser your account is used on, to protect your account.
- Work you do in the app: carrier statuses, notes, call-back reminders, searches, exports, support messages, your email template and your contact details for that template (name, phone, company).
- Activity records: counts and times of calls, emails, exports and status changes, used for your monthly limits and your team's daily report.
- Gmail connection: if you choose to connect Gmail, the information described in the Google user data section below.
The carrier information shown in Carrier Finder comes from public US Department of Transportation records about trucking companies and their authority and insurance filings. It is business information published by the government, not information we collect from you.
TCH DAT Extension
- Account information: your name, email address, trial and subscription status, and remaining email credits.
- Your settings: the MC numbers and company names you add, your email and copy templates, and the email settings you enter so the extension can send emails for you (email provider, sender address and the app password or SMTP details you provide).
- Load details you act on: when you click Map, Send or Copy, the extension reads that one load (such as origin, destination, dates, miles, weight, rate and broker contact) to build the map link, email or copied text. It does not read the load board in the background.
- Sent-email records: the broker address, load reference, time and delivery result of each email you send, so the extension can show the green Sent button and count your credits.
TCH Browser
- Account information: your username, sign-in sessions, plan and plan end date.
- Profiles: the profile names you create and the US connection assigned to each profile.
- Stored on your computer, not sent to us: each profile's saved logins, cookies, browsing history, open tabs and downloads stay on your computer. We don't receive them. Deleting a profile erases this data from your computer.
- Connection data: your browsing traffic passes through the US connection assigned to each profile. We and our network providers process technical connection data (such as connection times, IP addresses and data volume) to run, secure and troubleshoot the service. We don't sell browsing data or use it for advertising.
- Updates: the app checks our release page on GitHub for new versions, which shares your IP address with GitHub.
Google user data (TCH Carrier Finder)
TCH Carrier Finder lets you connect your Gmail account so the emails you send to carriers come from your own address. This is optional, and you choose when to connect.
What we access
- Permission to send email (Google scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send), which lets Carrier Finder send messages from your Gmail account when you ask it to. - Your Google account email address and basic profile, so the app can show which Gmail account is connected and use it as the sender.
Carrier Finder does not ask for and cannot use permission to read, search, label, change or delete the emails in your mailbox, and it does not access your contacts, calendar, Drive or any other Google data.
How we use it
- We use the send permission only to send the emails you choose to send, to one carrier or a list of carriers you select, using the template you write.
- We store the access tokens Google gives us securely on our servers, only so we can send those emails when you ask.
- We keep a record of each email sent through the app (recipient, time and delivery result) so you can see your history, stay within your monthly limit and appear in your team's daily report.
What we never do with Google user data
- We do not sell it or transfer it to anyone, except as needed to provide the feature you asked for, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
- We do not use it for advertising, including retargeting or interest-based ads.
- We do not use it to determine credit-worthiness or for lending.
- We do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
- No person at TCH reads it, unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or to comply with the law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
TCH Carrier Finder's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect Gmail in Carrier Finder's Settings at any time, or remove TCH Carrier Finder's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored tokens and the app can no longer send email from your account.
How we use information
- To provide, run and support our products, including sign-in, searches, emails you send, reminders, exports and reports.
- To protect accounts, prevent misuse and keep our services secure.
- To apply plans, trials and monthly limits, and to send service emails such as welcome emails, password resets and plan reminders.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To fix problems and improve our products, using information about how features are used.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
How we share information
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that host, store, secure or deliver our services (for example cloud hosting, databases, email delivery and network connection providers), under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing services to us.
- Within your team: if your account was set up by an administrator, that administrator can see your account details, limits and activity reports.
- When you ask us to: for example, when you send an email to a carrier or broker, the recipient receives the message you wrote.
- For legal reasons: when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or TCH.
- In a business transfer: if TCH is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
How long we keep information
We keep account information while your account is active. Activity records, such as email and export history, are kept for as long as needed to provide history, limits and team reports, and are then deleted or anonymized. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymize its personal information within 90 days, except where we must keep some records to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent fraud. Gmail access tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect Gmail or your account is closed.
Security
We protect information with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, password protection and per-device sign-in checks. Access to personal information is limited to people who need it to run our services. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us right away at the support email if you think your account has been misused.
Your choices and rights
- See or correct your information by emailing us.
- Delete your account and personal information by emailing us from the address on your account.
- Disconnect Gmail at any time, as described above.
- Unsubscribe: emails sent through Carrier Finder include an unsubscribe line, and recipients can ask us at any time to stop.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to know what we collect or to opt out of certain processing. We honor these rights. Send any request to support@tchproviders.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our products are business tools for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where information is processed
TCH and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries where they operate. We take steps so that your information stays protected as described in this policy wherever it is processed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use personal information or Google user data, we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect.
